Excursion Eating with Picky Kids

We're on the Enchantment of the Seas this month stopping in Jamaica and Grand Cayman and I'm concerned about what my kids might eat while onshore. They are very picky so I was planning to bring supplies to make them PB&Js for lunch those 2 days. Was wondering if the ship had a shop that sells ready made sandwiches or if I could grab something easily portable during buffet lunch the previous day.

You may want to find out if you are permitted to take food into those ports. In some places, you can only take pre-packaged food off the ship, not sandwiches.

Grand cayman has a hard rock, right off the dock, so the kids can have burgers etc their. Im sure u could make them a sandwich and throw it in your bag. You can definitely grab tons of fruit from the dining room. I always to that. I always need a healthy snack

Kids in our schools can get premade, packages BB&Js. If yopur school sells these maybe you can buy them there. You can also call room service for sandwiches. Most ships have small sandwiches and cookies at tea every afternoon, usually at 4PM. You are allowed to take prepackaged food off the ship -Lance's cheese & peanut butter crackers, etc. We have also seen McDonalds in ports! You're kids may surprise you and eat anything!

Advise against taking fruit off ship into ports.

Check first.
