European Springtime Cruise April 2014

I am interested in doing a cruise (I have never done one before). I live in auckland New Zealand. The cruise I am looking at is: Springtime European Voyager ex Rome to London departing April 2014.

Just wondering can anyone tell me what is "super saver guarantee"?
Better still, any Kiwi out there can kindly recommend a great cruise specialist? I live in
central Auckland.

Is it better for me to book flights online?
Any advice or tips would be most welcome as I m finding it a bit daunting at the moment.
Many thanks

Ps I also wonder if it is better value for money to do a Fly/Cruise ...

As much as fodorites would probably like to help, your question is way to vague. These are the questions you need to ask yourself and do the prelminary search.

super saver guarantee would depend on the cruise line.

If you physically want to visit a travel agent there should be someone in Auckland that you could call or visit. Better Business bureau, church bulletin sponsor, work travel agent, closest one to your home or grocery store, etc.

Fly/cruise: we have no specifics to work with, so again, you'll need to do some research first.

For a first time cruise, I would certsinly find a travel agent that you can sit down and talk with. Not an internet agency. Most places have multiple choices of TAs. Ask around and find someone that you are comfortable with. There are a lot of pitfalls and a good agent can steer you through.

Thanks so much for your replies, both are very helpful.

Just want to share with you that I spotted a fly/cruise southern carribean medley 10 nights.

I sure will do more researh and I am very excited about cruises - it's a whole new world out there to be explored at affordable prices if I look hard enough.

Many thanks again for your tips.
