electrical plugs

Does anyone know what kind of electrical plugs are in the staterooms on carnival? are they 3 or 2 slots? and how many outlets are there? i read somewhere that i needed to bring an extention cord- but most have 3 prongs.

How many things do you need to plug in? As I remember there are a couple on the desk, one in the bathroom. We never had an concerns.

not alot but there are 3 of us in one room- they wanted to use their phones as alarms and recharge cameras and 2 girls and our curling irons etc... i just heard there were only 2 plugs - one in the room and one in the bathroom.
thats not enough thats why i'm asking .

Can't speak for every one of their ships, but we just got off the Glory and our room had standard recepticals with 3 prongs, just like you'd have in any moderm building.

Yes, there is one in the bathroom and one on the desk. We travel with an extension cord so we can plug in more then just my phone and/or camera. This is on Carnival and most other ships.

We brought a plug that had several outlets on it. Used it for our cell phones, laptop, etc.
