E-docs/Paper Documents??

Taking a cruise with Carnival and have been asked if we want e-docs or paper documents sent thru the mail. Does anybody know if it makes a difference?
Thanks

no difference

Cruise Princess in January, had e-docs.

JetBlue uses e-docs.

Wehave used e docs it is fine. Not a problem and most lines are headed towards this way of doing the paper work. For the life of me though I cannot understand how they expect those paper luggage tags to work!! This has been a complaint by many.

Thanks for your help. I never thought about paper luggage tags so I guess I'll go the old-fashioned way....have the docs sent to the house. Thanks again.

Princess sends real luggage tags even with e-documents.

Not sure what Carnival does.

Either way would work fine. A lot of travel companies, airlines, cruiselines, etc are going paperless nowadays. Some are even charging if you would like paper docs, so you also may want to check if they charge for them..sounds ridiculous I know you pay so much for a cruise and then they will charge you for paper! but I am a travel agent and know that NCL is paperless and will charge for paper docs as well as some airlines charge to get a paper ticket...i guess it's the new age where everything is electronic..sometimes it's easier also if it's booked last minute to ensure it gets to you safe and sound and on time!
