Drink prices on Norwegian Star to Alaska 9-12-09

What would you expect to pay for a beer or a glass of wine on this ship?

Too much. It really pays to be noy too thirsty on cruise ships.

I was hoping for an actual price for comparison.

Since I have now returned from the cruise, I can answer my own question for your future use.

Most mixed drinks $8.50 with daily specials of $6.75-7.50.
Bucket of 6 beers, $24.75.
Note that every alcoholic and soda drink has an automatic 17% gratuity included.

17% automatic gratuity? Hmm ... it was 15% on the celebrity only last month. I don't mind the tip as long as the service is there and the money is for the server and NOT for the cruise line as a money grab.
