Disney Cruise in October?

Has anyone taken the Disney Cruise in Oct.? I prefer Disney at that time and would like to try the cruise but am a little apprehensive about hurricane season. Any advice?

shelia. I live in florida and have to keep an eye on the hurricans. we NEVER cruise in the "H" season. but oct is not as busy, usually, as june - sept. we have had some good huricanes in oct but not as many. Disney is a huge ship, but even these monsters will rock and rool. If a hurricane is 200 miles away the waves could still bother a ship. also if it gets too rough they will not dock on thier private island either. The so called Hurrican Expert in miami prdicks a pretty busy hurrican season this year too.
usually the cruise prices go down for jan-mar and if your up north you'd appreciate the warmer weather down here during that time. good luck
