Windstar cruise out of Lisbon

We are thinking of booking April 24-May 1, 2005 cruise on the Wind Surf leaving Lisbon, sailing down NOrth Africa, up thru stratis of Gilbralter docking in Malaga, Spain. Ports of call - Safi, Casablanca, Cadiz, Marbella and Malaga. Has anyone done this and do you know about the weather during that time.

The weather will be fine in the Med in late spring - cool at night whilst under sail. The Surf is a super ship - we love her. Have not done the itinerary you are considering but have done others. Lisbon is a fab city - try to spend a few days there prior departure. We loved the Hotel Britannia which is very convenient to everything with great restaurants nearby. More info if you need it......

Would love more info. We do plan on spending 3-4 days prior to sail in Lisbon so we will be ready for the cruise. What else do you have to share.

The early May weather was inclement all over Europe this year - that is unusual. Last year temps were in the upper 80's and everyone was complaining. You should be fine.

We generally go to Europe May or early June and have had good weather and bad Last year it was cold and rainy first part of journey and then warm in Paris during 2nd week of May. In past years we have hit very warm weather but that was later May.I'm just concerned about April. Hopefully next year will be good weather early. I don't want it too hot. Thanks for the replys
