Cruising from Baltimore
 

I live in Baltimore. Any cruisers departing from here who would like a mini, mini-gtg before or after their cruise, maybe just dinner, let me know. Nothing formal or all booked for a group. No need to plan much ahead. If possibility came up at last minute, we could try for it, but no problem if it didn't work out.

Sassafrass, I live in the Baltimore area, not going on a cruise anytime soon, flying to the islands, but would love to meet up with people on the Fodor's forum.

We have a lot scheduled for the next few weeks, but will be in Baltimore this weekend, the end of the first week in June, and end of June. Any of those times available for you? If so, do you want to try for something soon, or wait for later? BTW, we are in Towson, but almost any place convenient for you would be fine. Also, we are retired, so weekdays work too.

We haven't been there in several years, so don't know how it is now, but the museum of art used to have pretty good food at lunch time and sitting out by the sculpture garden was nice. Just a thought. I am open to anything.

I will be busy the rest of May and the first weekend of June. The best time for me will be June 22-26. I know where the museum is and I hear the food is great.

Let's get back to this post a day or two before then and pick a day and time.

I live near Baltimore but have never done a cruise from there. It's cheaper to just fly to Florida! I'm always on the lookout for a short "cruise to nowhere" but no one seems to be offering them from Baltimore right now.

Tch912, are you still around? I am so sorry. I have been on Fodors, but away from Baltimore with different relatives who were ill, and time just got away from me. I will be around this coming weekend if you are also here. If not, I will be here the 6/7 of August. Would any of those dates work for you?

Oh, I could do a weekday lunch also, except July 31 and 1-3 of August.

I would love to meet everyone. We should plan something like a Fodor's cruise forum cruise with a lot of sea days so we can just gather and chat. What do you think?

Don't know if we could ever put that together, but it would be fun. At least, we could all post what we are thinking about doing and see if anyone else is interested. I will start a thread about it.
