Cruising Celebrity Galaxy

I am cruising to the carribbean in June on the Galaxy. I'm a little concerned because the ship is about 6 years old and we had a bad experience on an older ship (different cruise line). Just wondering if anyone has recently sailed on the Galaxy and what their thoughts were.

We sailed the Galaxy last February with my 14 year old son. We absolutely loved it. It was clean, friendly, excellent meals, and my son had the best cruise of his life and he had been on the Voyager the year before. I loved the Galaxy. I wouldn't be concerned.

I agree the ship is fabulous and to listen to the myth that kids are bored on Celebrity ..... simply not true.

Paul

Just home from the Galaxy. We sailed over Xmas and new year. Even with the ship being full it was excellent. Food was better then Princess. Far better than N.C.L. Service was wonderful, and I would sail her again anytime. Entertainment was typical of most large ships. And yes I have cruised at least 25 times so I do have a basis for comparison. Enjoy your trip.

Kim,
I've been on the Galaxy twice and it was 100% pleasure both times. It is sooo much more pleasant than the Mega ships in my opinion. I'd go again in a minute.
I think you're much safer there than on the freeway to the airport!
Relax and enjoy.
Linda
