Cruisequick.com
Help! I did a text check and found a couple references to Cruisequick.com, but nothing real recent. I got a fabulous quote from them yesterday, but would like to know if anyone has booked through them recently. The "email only" communication worries me. I'd like to have the option of speaking to someone if a problem arises.
Thanks for any help you can provide!

I have the same worries about the email only communication, although, I have written to them and they have responded. Not very detailed responses, most of them referring me to their home page. I received a really good price quote from them too. I suppose the credit card guarantee is enough but it would stink not to have a cruise to go on if something were to go wrong and there was no one to speak with about it. I imagine I'll try their services since the price I got from them was $600 cheaper for 2 persons than any other price I can find. If someone has another recommendation for a good cruise price, I'd be willing to give it a shot.
Cheers!

Try www.away2go.com. They have some great rates - Try Diane or Julie. They are helpful.

Heragain - what ship and what date do you have the quote on.

cruisingfool, we are planning on going on the Brilliance of the Seas in January, either on the 3rd or the 24th.
Cheers

Try Sharon Smith at www.cruise.com she has matched or was lower. Always answers phone calls and emails. You won't have to worry about this gal. She has CYC/MCC after her name... whatever that means. Good Luck

Hi Liz,

Call Julie @ away2go.com and give her the quote you've got. She's very honest and will tell you to grab it or tell you she's got something better. It will only take a minute of your time, but you'll know if you've got something good or not. Email only communication is a tough way to do business. Toll free 800-938-8638.

Love 2 Travel

CTC is Certified Travel Counselor. You have to be in the travel business 5 years, take a series of classes from the Institute of Certified Travel Agents, pass tests. Don't need to be a travel agent to get this, you can work for an airline, but most of the ones I know are travel agents. I've been in the business 33 years, mostly with an airline, but have never gotten my CTC.

It indicates a lot of hard work and knowledge. Very prestigious among travel agents.

MCC is Master Cruise Counselor, again, several years of being travel agent and lots of study.

Somebody with those initials is serious about the job.

d
