Cruise for high school friends from the 70s
A couple of us have been batting around the idea of getting a group together (girls only)and go on a cruise - sort of a small semi-class reunion. Since most of us have not seen each other since the mid-70s, I think we should keep the trip short (4 days max) and fairly inexpensive. Has anyone done this? Any advice?

Never done it but it sounds like a great idea.
And keeping it short is good also. sometimes those old high school pals change after 35 years !!!
But since you are all women..you will have lots to talk about:
Husbands , babies, grandchildren ..Have fun .

Depending on if you are west coast or east coast, there are a few choices. West coast offers Mexican sampler, Costal sampler, Alaska sampler ranging from 3 days to 5 days.
East coast is mostly Western Caribbean for 3 to 5 days.
I came across a group of 50 ladies (they all have kids in the same school?) earler this summer on a Pacific coastal cruise. They all wear a red feather boa and they became the toast of the cruise. Although there are only 50 of them but you see them everywhere.

From the '70s? I suggest the s.s. Minnow for a three hour cruise.
Sorry...couldn't resist.
Only advice I would offer is to make sure everyone has the same set of expectations BEFORE you go. Creating an event page on FB would be helpfull where you can post what you see as what would happen on the cruise. You don't want to find yourself waiting for that person who likes to sleep in only to find out that they don't want to go ashore, you know what I mean?
Some friendly 'expectations' so that everyone is on the same page can't hurt.
Have fun! Say hi to Gilligan for me
