Cruise fare adjustment before last pmt
 

Hi,
I was told by TA from cruisedirect.com that we can get book the cabin and watch prices. If prices drop we will be able to adjust before final payment made.
Anyone had done it?

Yep- ALL THE TIME. Key is to keep track of pricing trends yourself. Immediately notify your booking agent if you see a drop and request an adjustment. BUT if you are fixed on a particular cabin, you may be out of luck. It pays to be flexable.

Yes We have always booked our cruises very early to get the room we want and almost always the price drops. Just keep your eye on the price and notify your TA as soon as you see a drop. You will get the lower price. Sometimes if price drops after final payment you will get an onboard credit. You can't go wrong!!! Your TA should be watching but I have always watched too. last year price posted dropped for 1 day almost 500 dollars and I caught it. price was back up the next day so it might have been missed by a busy TA.

If they get paid percentage I see why - if per booking - I don't get why...I would never book again with TA who missed me $500. Will you?
