Cruise "Consolidators"?

Greetings,
I live in a small town with only a couple of travel agencies. While they will book cruises, they don’t deal in volume. I was trying to get information on large travel agencies that specialize in cruises – consolidators. The only ones I could find are Liberty and World Cruises. Any others I might try. I’m looking for a bargain on a Panama Canal cruise in the March ’02 time frame. Thanks. Greg
Greg: Do some shopping around. Just because an agency is large doesn't always assure you the best price. I have dealt with mytravelco.com before and after checking around, I found much better prices elsewhere with cruise-only agencys 1/10th the size.
Shopping around and getting prices on the same cruise will show you, just make sure that you are comparing the same ship, same category cabin, etc. etc.
Good Luck!

Greg: Try cruise411.com, I had a good experience with them. Generally the best price and they performed as well or better than a travel agent.

I use Nancy Bogert with Cruise Planners. Here is her info:

(570) 323-0112
(800) 561-0802 [toll free]

She is associated with a large Cruise Only travel agency, she is a MCC (cruise specialist), she discounts all of her cruises and her customer service is the best I have ever encountered.

I highly recommend her. I have referred several to her with great results.
