Will answer here so others can see. Crown Dynasty used to be the Norweigien Dynasty and it was a Cunard ship before that. Built in 1993 its only 20,000tons. its concidered commodores upscale ship under the Crown name. for a good review check at www.Stutt.com in the wheelhouse. apperas to be a very nice cruise with only 800 pass.

We will be going on the Crown Dynasty Feb. 26th. So anyone who is interested can e-mail me back. And I'll let you know about the ship and shore excursions. <BR>Kathy

I cruised on the Crown Dynasty 2 or 3 years ago for a trip to Alaska. At that time, the ship was part of Majesty Cruise line but everything on the ship said "cunard". I picked this ship for my Alaskan cruise because it is small - I think capacity is around 800 - and our cruise only had 550 people. It had two dining rooms for breakfast and lunch - one was order from the menu the other was a buffet. For dinner only the one restaurant was used. There was a small casino and one lounge for shows. THere was also a small lounge "bar". THere is a small gym. I thought the room was a nice size with good closet space but the bathroom was tiny. I'm not interested in these mega ships so I really enjoyed this ship.
