Here is another list of holiday complaints. Some complaints will apply to cruising:
- The beach was too sandy
- No-one told us there would be fish in the sea
- I was bitten by a mosquito. No one said they could bite.

Thats pretty funny E.

The things people say and do sometimes amazes me.

There is the one about the cruise passenger who had pictures taken and was told where and when they would be ready. She asked "how will I know which ones are ours." :S-.

After a horrific 2 1/2 months culminating in a terrible day yesterday (January 20), I hope for more posts like these in the next 4 years.

Some people are never happy. Had table mates once that insisted on having carrot curls instead of carrot spears. Spears are uneatable.

Not quite a complaining matter, perhaps, but not irrelevant:

While researching a cruise and looking through reviews, I was astonished by what some people find fault with:

~ No ice to be had within the first hour after embarkation. Probably the busiest time for the cabin worker bees of the entire cruise - couldn't the pax have taken the ice bucket to the nearest bar to get a few cubes?

~ Booked a cabin (ahem, "stateroom") of the "Verandah-Obstructed" category (listed as such!) and complained about, you guessed it, the obstruction.

~ The evening "turn-down" was late or didn't happen. Who needs a steward to fluff up a pillow and put a piece of candy on it? Can't go to bed without that?

~ The hot sauce to hot, the ice cream too cold...

What's next? The sugar too sweet? The water too wet?

I once was on a cruise and a lady we met booked two paid ship board activities for the same times and was mad at the ship for letting her do this. :S-.

I do think you will get a prompt for booking on shore activities activities at the same time but while on board I don't think so.

I used to work on ships, I wish I kept a diary with all the questions and complaints, oh dear oh dear. From “what time will the dolphins jump” to “does the crew sleep onboard”? And yes, seriously there are passengers wishing to speak with the captain to complain about the rough seas and what he is going to do about it..... Great experience though!
