cozumel beaches - which of these?
Hope you can help (I will also place on Cruise Forum). My wife and myself will be on a cruise in June and researching which beach to visit in Cozumel. We are nor divers or snorkelers but like swimming with food and wine after. Would prefer something quiet but not over expensive.
Frequently mentioned are: Nachi Cocum; Mr Sanchos; Paradise Beach; Playa Mia; Buccanos Beachclub; Coronas; and Money Bar Beach Club.
Any thoughts?

We personally enjoyed the view form the lighthouse at Punta Sur. There are many nice beaches at Cozumel. The windward beaches (north) are usually less crowded but we preferred the beaches on the southern side.
Check out the link below from Fodors on Cozumel beaches.

stevelyon, unfortunately, no. There are beaches sort of near the cruise port, but nothing within reasonable walking distance.
The closest is probably Playa Corona, maybe 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic. Parque Nascional Chankanaab is right there and you can visit the Mayan village, botanical garden and lagoon if you want to do something different.
Punta Sur is right at the very southern tip of the island. You should google the pictures of the various beaches and see if the scene interested you at all.
Allow yourself lots of time, prearrange cab pick up if needed. Traffic could be heavy on days with many ships, plus the island does not have multi-lane superhighway so if there is a fender bender, you could be stuck for a bit.
