Countdown?
Our next cruise is with Royal Caribbean, they have such a neat feature - countdown after log-in.
Mine is 157 days, what is yours? |
Ours is about 35 days up the New England coastline on Caribbean Princess leaving from NY City.
|
Ours is over a year, but we're still counting down! Sep/09 to the Baltic
|
Oh about 91 days on RC also .
|
Just over 500 days to go!
But I think a countdown clock this far in advance would eventually drive me insane. Tick tock. Tick tock. Just like the Tell-Tale Heart. Or that blasted navigator screen on the airplane that lets you know, kilometer by kilometer and minute by minute, how much longer until you reach your destination. This anticipation is definitely too much for me!!! :) |
4 DAYS TO GO!! Holland America 14 day Alaska cruise.
|
Hi. Mine is 17 days away. First, I'm staying in Vancouver for 3 nights and then cruising Alaska.
|
We leave Fort Lauderdale on the 3rd of Jan for 10 day cruise with HA.
Counting down from Australia! Donna |
Our countdown finally says less then 57 days. I would log in every week since we signed up for our cruise last November. On days that I put in a 14 hour work day I would log in and see how many days before paradise!
|
We leave on the 6th for our t/a cruise on the Celebrity Constellation.. and Im finding. there is no way I can take all my clothes, shoes and bags....
|
110 days until I sail on the Emerald Princess to the Caribbean.
I wish Fodors allowed us signatures and countdown clocks here on the webpage. |
Oh, no! not here one the page :) But there is a calendar created by a Fodorite, you can put your travel days there. Many have done so.
|
Crusie critcis has countdown on their forum. I like the forum here as it is: not cluttered with avatars and "braggings" of how many cruises they've been to (or claimed that they had)
|
Oh, cruise critics... with all due respect... all those photos, emoticons, and what not!
115 till next cruise :) |
22 days to my trip of a lifetime: a lengthy cruise through the Middle East, Africa, across the Atlantic and up the coast of Brazil. I'm beside myself with excitement.
|
Faina! You can disable all those "extras," such as emoticons, signatures, photos, etc. on Cruise Critic and only display text. I agree, all that stuff is way too distracting.
|
Here you go, Faina. To declutter your Cruise Critic experience, log in to your CC account, then:
Find the drop down menu by clicking "Quick Links" toward the upper right-hand side of the page. Look for "Control Panel" on the left-hand side of your screen and find "Edit Options." Scroll down to "Thread Display Options," where you'll find "Visible Post Elements." Uncheck the following: Show signature, show avatars, show images. It's a lot easier than it seems. Good luck! |
Thank you, Betsy, but... I am not registered with CC :((
I don't know why, can't put my finger on it, something about CC doesn't feel right. Probably no political arguments, that's why :)) |
LOL, Faina. Well, if you ever do decide to register at CC, you'll know how to clean up your page.
:D BTW, I found CC very useful when planning our AK cruise. You do have to wade through a lot of info though. |
13 days to go---Holland America's Ancient Mysteries--Israel, Turkey, Greece, Malta, Tunisia, Egypt and Sicily. Our 50th anniversary cruise!!
