Considering a first-time Caribbean cruise..

Hi, I'm interested in possibly going on a cruise for the first time. I would be departing from NJ unless I can't find anything, and may need to fly to Fort Lauderdale for departure.

Would most like to visit Caribbean, possibly Bahamas for about 6/7 days. Will be traveling single so hopefully I can make friends on the cruise ship. Also, do you know if there are any cruise lines that are extra helpful with people who have limited mobility? Please, any information to help me get started, would be great. Thanks, Greg

Many ships now have Studio cabins for one person.
To meet folks that might work for you as there is a hostess at cocktail time in the Studio lounge and folks can eat together.

Regarding limited mobility, you can rent an electric scooter from Special Needs at Sea. Also be sure to book an accessible cabin. This way you'll have room inside the cabin for the scooter.
