Commodore Cruise - I won a free one, but what will I be getting?
I've been on at least a dozen cruises including RCCL, Carnival, etc. This looks like one of the old Dolphin Line (1950's) ships.
If you've been on the "Enchanted Isle" in the last 24 months and are willing to answer a few questions, let me know.
Thanks for any help... or just comments. I figure I can't go wrong... its free!

Hi Lewis, I've been on the Enchanted Isle and the former Commodore ship, the Enchanted Seas (now a "semester at sea" ship). I've cruised with Commodore 4 times. I have also cruised on Dolphin, RCCL, Norwegian, and am leaving on my first Carnival cruise next week. Please email me with any questions I can answer for you! Erica

Congrats on the free cruise! I've been on Commodore twice and while it's not exactly luxury on the high seas it is a nice little ship. I found the food adequate, the crew delightful and the ports (Western Caribbean with homeport New Orleans) a lot of fun. Don't sweat it. I think you may just end up appreciating the small ship size and the fact that it's not one of the large floating Hyatts that so many cruise lines have these days! (I'm booked on RCCL to Alaska this summer so I'm not totally against the big ships! LOL)

I guess it's pretty obvious now you won't be getting much since Commodore went out of business. Sorry about that.

Commodore is reorganizing under Chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Code. They plan to come back in May with at least one ship in New Orleans. We'll have to see if it actually happens!
