Celebrity's Millenium
 

My wife and I are scheduled on Celebrity's newest ship- Millenium at the end of July and are now somewhat concerned that this ship's maiden voyage(i.e originally scheduled for 6/17) has been postponed until early July. Does anyone have any knowledge as to whether this ship will be ready in early July? Thank you

The Press Release from Celebrity (RCCL) states that they will only miss the first voyage.

I heard on another board that the second and third sailing have also been cancelled.

My husband & I are scheduled for a October cruise and getting rather concerned about the delay of the maiden voyage, we have tried the local contact for Celebrity Cruises but they do not seem to have any information about the launching of the vessel (or brochures). Does the ship exist?

Millennium DOES exist and will sail tomorrow for 14 days/Baltic. Only the first voyage was cancelled. Looks like a beautiful ship.....have a great cruise!
