Celebrity Summit to Alaska Southbound
 

Anyone sailed the Celebrity Summit yet? Is it up to par with the Ocean Princess? Are the formal nights in Alaska taken as seriously as the Caribbean formal evenings, since it is a more rugged type of place?

I sure hope so. I booked a Celebrity cruise primarily because I wanted to dress up and hope that my fellow cruisers want to as well. IMO, if you want to be casual on a cruise line, pick one that focuses on that type of cruise -- like Carnival or RCCL. Besides, I'm sure they don't expect one to catch their own supper alongside the bears...

No problem. Actually, I've heard that Alaskan cruises are among the most dressy since it's not so tropical and hot.
