Is deck 6 with balcony a good place to be for an Alaska cruise or should I try for a higher deck? Your thoughts and comments are appreciated.

We were on deck 7 - last yr. - it was perfect.

Is it noted to be a partially obstructed view? If not than yes. What is the cabin number?

Thank you for your help. Cabin number is 6232. Says nothing about obstructed view. I hope this is the middle of the ship for stability.

Pull up the deck plans on cruise critic or vacationstogo and see exactly where your cabin is.

You are basically in the middle but a little back and next to a bank of elevators. Look at deck 5 which is the entertainment deck. Michaels club is a ways back from you on 5 so you should be fine.

Thank you for you comment regarding deck 6. I appreciate your input I do hope the cabin is a good one. Trying to possibly upgrade, however I am told not looking good.

Looking at the deck plan, 6232 is right there at the open atrium. If they have a band playing in the atrium at night, you will hear the music in your cabin. Check the post "Nobody sleeps on Celebrity" here by someone venting about the noise from the atrium band.

As you know now I saw that.
