Celebrity, food available on embarkation before dinner?
I was reading some reviews which seem to indicate that lunch was not served on the day of boarding. Is this true? This wouldn't be a problem except that we are traveling with children and they really can't wait until dinnertime to eat. Has anyone sailed with Celebrity recently that can comment?

Which ship, Nina?
As in the case of the Century out of FLL that sails at 4:30--they have a wonderful Welcome -aboard buffet in four buffet lines in the Islands Cafe from 12:30-3:30. One of the best buffets of the week, in my opinion. There is also Pizza available 12:30-3:30 and 4:30-7:00, and Hot dogs/hamburgers
from 12:30-3:30. I don't know of any cruise lines that does not keep you fed.
Happy cruising!! Your children won't starve!

Cruiser, thanks, it's the Mercury leaving out of Miami, but it doesn't depart until 8:00 pm and boarding looks like it begins at 2:00 pm.

Boarding will begin earlier and lunch should start as early as noon perhaps 1.
go early as its the only meal all week that everyone goes to at the same time..
You can also order room service.
