Celebrity Constellation Q's!!!!!
My mom and I will be sailing on the Constellation in March of 2008, and we have a few questions. First of all, we would appreciate any reviews or input you have about the ship. We decided to go all out and booked the concierege deck with verandah. Mom's first cruise! And secondly, we would like some advice on shore excursions. Our ports are: Grand Cayman, Aruba, Cartegna, Cristobal Pier and Cozumel. We love the beach scene and shopping. Please advice, thank you!!

Grand Cayman - you have to go to Sting Ray City (do search here). Touristy, crowded, a little creepy the first time you touch a sting ray - but still a high point of any trip we have taken. (They take you out in a boat, you stand in waist high water, big sting rays swim buy and you can feed and pet them. Excursion from ship or arrange one on your own - many include lunch on beach and all have time to shop in town before going back to ship)

We cruised with Constellation twice and she is a beautiful ship.
When I went to Cayman (2000?) we took Captain Marvin tour (a local, we booked through the web).
For Cozumel I suggest the Mayan ruins.

We have also cruised the Constellation. She is a beauty and I loved the various pools. Indoor ones are great. Cozumel, we just did shopping. Grand Cayman as suggested sting Ray tour is one that my kids always rave about and claim was the highlight of there trip. I have not done this, we went to the beach. A wonderful beach there. I have never been to Aruba so I cannot offer much. Have fun, you will enjoy every minute.

Thank you all for your posts, it will help us make our decisions a lot easier. If anyone out there has some input on Cartegena, Cristobal Pier or Aruba, we would really appreciate any advice. Thanks, Lori
