Carnival Paradise
I am going on Carnival Paradise in March 2009. Will the cruise ship be crowed? Is it a nice ship? I would like some information on the ship. Thanks.

Since the Carnival Paradise goes on cheap, short cruises from LA, I think it's a pretty good bet that the ship will be crowded with spring-breakers and possibly with families if spring break for local schools concides with your cruise. The atmosphere on these shorter Carnival cruises tends to be party-hardy.
These is an older ship, built in the late '90s, but Carnival has done a lot to bring ships up to date. I don't know when this one specifically had its last dry-dock upgrade. |
Ok thanks. Have you ever been on carnival paradise. how is the food and staterooms?
|
The Paradise was last refurbished in 2005. Should be in decent shape, but perhaps showing a bit of wear. Carnival staterooms are always decent-sized and functional.
Food is very consistent across the fleet. Quality is hard to describe. At dinner, it's not what you'd get in the best restaurant in town, but usually better than Applebees/Olive Garden. I've had some very good meals on Carnival, and some not so much... |
Ok cool thanks. Even that I am going in March(spring Break)will i still be able to relax? Is carnival good at handling big groups.?
|
All cruise ships are used to handling large groups. I think it's always harder on a short cruise, but it really depends on the people on board more than Carnival. They are equipped to handle the number of passengers they are set up to handle (always more than 100% occupancy), but the ship may still feel crowded.
