Carnival Glory - cabin 1102 SPA deck?

This will be our first cruise and have been assigned cabin 1102 on the Glory's Spa deck. I was wondering if anyone can tell me about this deck and what to expect... re: noise level, motion, etc..? is there a CD player or VCR in these cabins? thanks!

We were on the Glory in December 03 but were on the Main deck. Nice cabin. Hopefully your cabin is in a good location...when you take the elevators to the dining room just remember to NOT stand close to the doors. There is so much "brass & glass" that it makes it very hard to read what floors are coming up. Better to stand in the middle of the area where the elevators than directly at the doors. I hope you understand what I mean. Also, check your account on the tv daily...we were charged an item and it took about 3 days for them to remove it from our account! Bon Voyage!

dianeg: In my opinion it's not a great deck or cabin location. It's a very high deck with few cabins. Generally its best to pick a cabin near the middle of the ship, your cabin is very close to the top and front of the ship and will feel more motion that a more centrally located cabin. Also, from the deck plan it appears your room is directly next to the Steam Room in the Spa.

Get a copy of the deck plans for the ship (just type in Carnival Glory in Google) and try to get a cabin that has cabins above, below, and to each side of yours, stay away from cabins directly over or under public rooms like disco, casinos and restaurants.
If you are getting a balcony, try for the Empress Deck, otherwise, the Main and Riveria decks would be best for an outside or inside cabin. Hope this helps.

I was wondering as to how much noise travels from neighbouring cabins or from corridor traffic... maybe the spa's steam room would be a quieter neighbour?? As for the deck, I'm only eligible for a 6E cabin.
