Caribbean! Western or Eastern?

For a first timer, which would be more interesting/exciting, the Western Carribean or Eastern. Which includes more fun and interesting stops, places to see and to go?
Thanks for any input.

I like the Eastern Caribbean more. St. Thomas has Megan's Bay and the beaches on St. John are wonderful. I'm sure you'll get lots of responses. Happy cruising.

Here are some cruise line web-sites. You can check out the itineraries. Some things to keep in mind are what port will they sail out of (can you drive or do you have to fly - how far away?)

We are doing the Western Caribbean in June. Where ever you go, cruising is so fun it almost doesn't matter the destination! :)

I've been to the West side five times and the East only twice, but I'm getting ready to go back to the Eastern Carribean in three weeks. My preference is the Western.
