Caribbean in 17/18

Anyone have an opinion as to what the eastern Caribbean is going to look like with winter cruises. We have been routinely cruising in the eastern Caribbean during January and Febr. Don't really care where the ship does just so long as it is warm. Cheaper than renting a condo in Florida or the Keys. But it looks like St Martin, Thomas, etc, are all severely damaged. Probably too earlier to make a judgement.

Well, if the islands damaged by Hurricane Irma have not recovered fully by the time the cruise you select is scheduled to sail they will probably change the "published" itinerary. Most likely to islands further south.

As you already surmised right now it is too early to make an informed decision. Best to wait & see.

Picture soft white sand, perfectly clear water and warm trade winds swaying your hammock, you’d be picturizing the Eastern islands.

Makes me wonder if cruises for the southern Caribbean will start to book fast? This islands were spared and some ports like the ABC islands rarely are hit by hurricanes.

Perhaps you should look into this.

The weather should not be an issue. It will be warm.
