Monarch of the Seas reviews cruisecritic.com other options
RCL leaves Port Canaveral mondays but shorter than a week
vacationstogo.com [email protected]
for other options... might consider a cruise
wdwinfo.com combo www.spirit.com good flights down
cheaply but many options. MIA will have others
Congrats!

Here is a thought for you. Join the cruise on the second day of the cruise if you find one that works for you.
Here is one example. It is a 7 day Carnival cruise on the ship Victory, departing (June 3) and returning to San Juan. The second day of the cruise (June 4) is St Thomas. You can fly into St. Thomas, join the cruise that day and home from San Juan. It visits several islands in the Carribean and looks nice, might be a bit warm in June. All you would miss is departure evening and one night on the ship. Look at Vacationstogo website, deal #20473.
You would want to let the agent know at the time that you purchase the ticket what you will be doing, for any paper work that might be different. I would also check with the cruise lines, just to make sure there are no glitches. We have left the ship early on two cruises and had friends who joined the cruise late a couple of times, and it was no problem. If you look, you will find several cruises that would work for you by doing this.
If you could possibly swing two weeks, this would be fantastic. Deal #20227. It departs from Venice, Italy on June 5 and is 12 days in the Med and Greek Islands. I've been on a similar cruise and the itinerary is wonderful, and it is a good price. Departing on the 5th, you could fly out from NYC on the 4th.
Good luck - lots of possibilities if you are a bit flexible.

Very few Caribbean cruises leave on a Monday. You may find one or two, but most of them leave on weekends (usually Saturday or Sunday). Some of the longer cruises on HAL or one of the luxury lines might depart on different days. But you may need to wait a few days to get the cruise you want if you want a Caribbean cruise.
