Capts Night

Can someone tell me if I will overdressed if I wear a long gown on Capts. night for the the Nova Scotia cruise on Carnival triumph. Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Apparently, as long as you wear a NASCAR ballcap with it, you'll be ok.

All kidding aside, my experience with Captain's night is that it coincides with one of the formal nights and a long gown is certainly appropriate dress.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha

Peter told a funny.

You cannot overdress on a cruise. Look as pretty as you can and the room will notice and admire you. Plus, all those in t-shirts and halter tops and white sneakers will look with envy since you had the good taste to dress appropriately. Oh, yes, there are plenty of slobs on certain cruise ships. God, are they slobs......

Peter actually cracked a joke???
My god!! Is his family out after him yet? Do they know he is out? Do they care?

Hi Iris,

You will find the New York City passengers are so well dressed you will have to go some to keep up with them. Your gown will definitely not be out-of-place.

Enjoy,

Paul
