California Coastal Cruise
I'm interested in taking a California Coastal Cruise on the Sapphire Princess in the middle of October.
Does anyone know which terminal the ship is leaving from? Port of Los Angeles or Port of Long Beach. Since my plane would be arriving at LAX at 11h00 a.m. on a Saturday and the ship leaves at 4h00 p.m. will this give me enough time to get to the ship? Never been to San Franciso or San Diego, are there any excursions that should be a must? Any information would be appreciated. |
The cruise on October 12 says L.A.
Both San Diego and San Francisco are worth an excursion. World famous San Diego Zoo is worth the excursion alone. |
Princess leaves from the Port of LA (San Pedro) There are shuttles from the airport and the cost is about $16/each SuperShuttle, Prime Time etc. http://www.primetimeshuttle.com/loca...ortshuttle_LAX
You can book online. It doesn't take that long depending on traffic and the number of pickups but you have lots of time to get to the ship. In San Diego I strongly recommend getting the trolley tour. You can hop on and off if you want to spend time in any of the locations. http://www.trolleytours.com/san-diego/ |
Thank you for the information and the links. I always wanted to go see the San Diego Zoo, didn't know if it was really as good as I thought.

The Trolley in San Diego is great. Don't miss Old Town, Mission Bay and the Gaslamp District.
