I am looking for a "Bridge Cruise"!!! Where does SP go? From where?

Several cruise lines offer Audrey Grant Bridge cruises! Check with Regent and Crystal, too. Many of the cruise lines offer bridge as a daily activity. All bridge games and tournaments are listed on the daily schedule and newsletter delivered every evening for the next day.

I've done the Audrey Grant course on Regent (at the time it was Radisson) and it was very professional. Bridge lessons, game playing including both party bridge and duplicate bridge each sea day. On port days there were also lots of games going if you were on the ship. It was a wonderful learning experience. The classes gave out text books to keep as well. Not familiar with bridge on Sun Princess but I can highly recommend Regent for bridge.

pjammin123: Do you know if the Audrey Grant (Regent) Bridge Cruises sail to the Greek Islands? I heard that Regent has "all balcony" ships....does this mean hat every room has a balcony?

wow, I too have done the Audrey Grant bridge lessons while on longer Regent cruises. I'm not sure how much they do on the shorter cruises...especially when you're in a port most every day. Audrey is fantastic (as are her teaching assistants)and so easy to talk to. I am a beginner and she never made me feel stupid but was always willing to help me understand a complicated game. I bet you could find her email and ask her directly.

As for the Greek islands, funny you should mention this. We are signed up for the Oct. 6, 2007 Regent Voyager (holds 700 passengers) trip from Istanbul to Athens with the 2 night pre-cruise in Istanbul. The price is right! It also includes free air or $1,000 off the price.

Yes, it is an all balcony ship. You can get the least expensive cabin and be more than comfortable with 356 sq.ft,a walk in closet, DVD player as well as movies on demand, separate shower and tub. As of next month each cabin (which is actually a suite) will have flat screen TVs. It is an all inclusive cruiseline including all liquor 24/7 and gratuities. It is my favorite of all the ships I've cruised on.

Thanks, Petlover! Sounds great! :)

I guess I didn't make my question clear enough. I was asking only about the Sun Princess-- and have found out, yes, they do have duplicate on sea days. Thanks for answering - and abram I'll play with you anytime -
