Booking through Cruise Consolidators

Was wondering if anyone has ever purchased through a consolidator/wholesaler for cruises. I was quoted a great cruise only price and have compared the prices with other agencies. The price does include taxes and port charges. Has anyone ever got burned using this type of company?

I am sure that Paul and Peter will respond to this, but keep in mind what they do for a living.

What does being a tax accountant have to do with susan's post?

Nothing other than you are still an asshole.

Hi Susan,

Nothing wrong booking through a consoladator. Do anything you like. This is the good ol' USA.

Best though to be cruise-savvy. If something goes wrong you will not be able to go crying to them.

Also if you wish yoiur entire vacation explained step by step from the time you leave home to the time you return, best to go with a real travel agent that will take the time.

Also be careful when purchasing insurance. Make sure you understand all the coverages throughly. Many, many people who thought they had peace-of-mind found out they didn't.

When you book with them make sure you find out where your cabin is located on the ship. You may be under the disco or the galley.

There are many other items of interest but I do not have the time to list them here. But this will get you started.

Enjoy,

Paul
