Does anyone have a travel agent or website that offers discounts on Princess?

I just used the search tool on this site and put in Princess Discount and a bunch of threads came up that could help you.

There should be many who do. If you are a member of Costco call them. They give very good discounts. many here use www.cruisecompete.com as well. As Tango says a search will reveal alot of info. good luck. Larry

You can also get a good idea of prices at vacationstogo.com. Just go to the find a bargain area and put in what you are looking for in the options.

They have the lowest prices I have found but because I use a large cruise agency I just let them know what I can get it for and they match the price if it is lower and always give me an upgrade if that happens. But, this way you can have a good idea of how much most categories are so you know if you are being overcharged.

Vacationstogo does give you an idea of prices but they don't discount cruise line prices. Cruisecompete affiliates do discount but you don't really know who you will be dealing with. If you want a great agent who provides both low price and high service, e-mail my agent Alex at [email protected]. Tell him spur sent you.

We have discovered that if you book Princess when the schedule first comes out that the agents can not beat them on price. We were apprehensive about booking directly with Princess so we went with an agent at the same price. But when you book with an agent you can no longer ask Princess your questions, which is the down side to me. If you book through a cruise line use one that is in good standing. Princess will be around for a long time. They own a large amount of Alaska tourist industry between their own hotels, railcars and cruise ships. So I feel Princess is a safe business to book directly.
Side note: We are glad that we booked with our agent, so for future trips like Europe when we really need an agent we have her.
