Ethelsimmons, in the tips forum, you asked for reviews of this company, as if you had never been on one of their cruises.

Ethelsimmons, in the tips forum, you actually say you have never been on a cruise. Your lie would keep me from ever booking with your company. Too bad because they look interesting, but not if you need to lie to get customers.

Sass, I think Ethelsimmons has been eradicated from Fodors ...

Big! Bigger! The bigger the better! More places to see and explorer. If I want peace and quiet, I'll get into a row boat.

Sally,
That is funny. Up to a point, I am beginning to feel the same, though I still want to feel I am on a ship.

Sass, a big boat for you then?

Sassafrass Feb 24th, 2015 10:47 AM

Still depends on the boat and the itinerary. If the itinerary is so great I am off the boat every day, then I do not mind small. I enjoy sea days on a big boat with things to do if the public area does not seem crowded. I like a variety of entertainment so if I do not like one thing, there is something else and you get that on a larger ship.
OTOH, I don't like a ship so big, with smaller public space, that you feel as if you are in a big apartment building. I like a ship that can provide food areas open all night, or I have to carry a lot to the cabin for late night hunger attacks.

Epic is a little big for me, but the kids program is so great, it works well when GD is with us.
Majesty is a little small, but with time off the ship, and for a short cruise, it was fine.
Crown Princess was a perfect size for me.
So, I guess, over all, a larger ship, but not super sized.
