Beverages

I know that alcoholic beverages are charged extra and so are carbonated drinks. What about lemonaide. Going to Alaska in August.

Coffees, teas, juices (I would say lemonade would fall into this) are generally free aboard cruise ships.
carnival gives free juice. some ships have just some red juice. others have lemonade. usually you will not see both on the same ship. But usually one is available for free on carnival

Don't know about Carnival, but juices including lemonade are available at certain times on RCCL, Celebrity and Princess for free.

There was fruit punch and lemonade available 24 hours in the Paris Restaurant on the Carnival Paradise.

I personally enjoyed the hot chocolate (free at beverage station many times during the day), but that was on Holland Lines. Enjoyed the wool blankets on deck when sailing near glaciers, too.
Alaska is a fantastic destination. ENJOY!!
