I went this summer on the Grand Princess through Princess Cruise Lines with three families. We went from Spain-France-Italy-Greece-Turkey-& back to Italy. We ranged from parents in there late 40s-50s with kids from 10-to late 20's. So you can imagine (we enjoyed luxury, but also weren't looking for snootyness.) I think princess is a great cruise line to get that feel. However I have heard that a Norwegian Cruise line is best, and a little input I thought you should know is that I've traveled Europe before and I really think Cruising is the worst way to travel it. Yes you don't have to worry about foreign roads or languages really and your meals are included, but you get NO TIME anywhere! Plus a lot of the time is taken getting off the ship and then getting to the attraction. I don't know I would just say don't expect to see everything where you are going. Pick out one main thing and then leave the rest up to chance. It would be less disappointing and more relaxing!

OH YEAH--- If one of your ports is in Capri- rent a boat and go around the Island! (its unforgettable)-Pompeii is good too! Ok hope this helps!
