Bermuda on Pacific Princess?

My husband and I are planning to take our first cruise this june, and are considering the above trip. Has anyone taken this cruise? I know that it's an older ship, but I've heard good things. How're the cabins? How important is that? I'd greatly appreciate any imput!

This ship is OLD and tiny, tiny, tiny.
You won't believe how tiny till you see it next to the other ships. (and they aren't even megaliners!) I wouldn't recommend it. Mostly older crowd on it, also. I would recommend the Zenith or Horizon on Celebrity, or the Nordic Empress on Royal Caribbean. (both out of NY). NCL has one out of Boston. Carnival has one out of Norfolk, VA. June 5 & 12. Bermuda is wonderful!
Thanks! Unfortunately, I'm stuck with my travel dates, so I'll have to research other cruises for those dates...

yikes - i just booked the Pacific Princess from NYC to Bermuda for this summer as I got a good deal - I'm hoping I'm not going to regret this - I don't mind tiny, I'm not thrilled about old - the reviews on fodors.com seemed good ... does anyone have more info to share about this ship?

thanks!

Out of my 147 lifetime cruises, our August 2000 Bermuda cruise on the Pacific Princess ranks among the top 3.
I have also sailed NCL's Majesty, Celebrity's Zenith and Horizon... and RCL's Nordic Empress to Bermuda... among other ships no longer in service.

None can compare. Suggest you do a google.com search for reviews from people who have actually sailed the Pacific Princess!!!!!!!!!!!
