What is the bathrobe policy on Royal Caribbean these days? Do they have extras for those of us who have sailed with her for less than 5 sailings?

If you want a bathrobe just bring one!!!this is not rocket science or maybe for the OP it is...BTW, the policy is bring your own.

On Celebrity, every cabin gets robes to wear while on board, not just suites!

What about NCL?

I talked to a guy at RCCL who said that if you are a Crown and Anchor member (even less than 5 cruises), you can ask your cabin steward for a robe. He assured me there would be no problem. But I forgot to ask on the cruise so I don't know if it really works.

Thanks Jen for the info. There are 22 of us going on the sailing and we were just checking. To xxx...boards like this are for information. What may not be important or obvious to you may not be to everyone!

I was told that robes in the room for C class and above. I looked at my room on mytravel.com board and there were 2 robes on the table. We have a balcony suite on bridge deck, so I am sure we will have robes, for the steerage class I am not sure if you can get a robe. Have a great cruise, Buck

Yes, bathrobes are a big deal! They take up unnecessary room in luggage when you're trying to pack light. We were on the Baltic cruise on HAL and had bathrobes. It really was a nice plus!!(maybe this is a female thing?)

Go on a European cruise line. Passengers wear bathrobes day and night on deck. It's like a bathouse convention. The dirtier they are the better they look.<BR><BR>Paul

I have agree with &quot;nude' I would never think a bathrobe was such a big deal. I live in the freezing Northeast. I have several robes I never even wear. Why on earth if I were cruising in a warm destination one would want a robe??? I wouldn't want to be in a robe on a cruise anyways. How ridiculous!!!

And what makes you think those interested in bathrobes are only cruising in warm destinations?

Don't you folks have a travel agent? They would be able to answer your questions, or be able to get answers

Maybe thats why they come to the CRUISE forum on Fodors. You know, a place where you can ask questions you have about cruising.

Have narrowed my cruise down to this;<BR>a robe or no robe--cost, with air, is $4000.00 for both lines I am considering. One really has the cabin, the route I want, everything but doesn't have robes. So, I will just have to choose line B, although the cabin is not exactly what I wanted and the route wasn't first choice BUT they have robes.<BR>Now having a robe or not having a robe makes a cruise.

As much as I've enjoyed having a robe and it is important to me as well, I wouldn't put it ahead of chosing the right cabin and certainly not ahead of the right destination.

This thread could get as good as those Laundry threads on CC.
