barcelona cruise port
 

is it possible to walk from old city near liceu metro station to cruise port and if not what would be the taxi fare. we only have carry on suitcases

It's nearer to metro station. You can go by walk, if you are not have problem with the luggage.

The cruise port is relatively close to the Bari Gotic. But, in warm weather, or rain, it really is not worth it to save the 20 Euros a taxi would cost. The walk is along an exposed and noisy road, and the saving is not worth spoiling the beginning of a relatively costly cruise in my opinion.

But, beware of the location of your ship. Many of them are not at the cruise port, but are tied up to the mole in the outer harbor. (You can get a good view in Google Earth.) If the ship is there, it almost impossible to get to it on foot and you will have to pick up a cab in any event. It is also twice the distance to these ships.

Not exatly. The cruise port operates blue buses which would bring you to your pier

My question to the OP is : the (entrance to the) cruise port is indeed with walking distance from the Drassanes metro station, but how do you plan to get to Drassanes metro station in the first place?
