Baltic Cruise Summer 2005

We are small ship folks, so we only go on the ones with fewer than 100, hopefully fewer. This limits us to some pretty pricey ones. Lindblad, National Geographic, Sea Cloud, II, Smithsonian Journeys and Tauck. Any advice on others of similar quality and size? Also best month- June (too cool?) July (too crowded?), August (few offered)? 12 - 14 days. 17 days is a bit too long.
I have dealt with Sea Cloud & Smith. I am leaning toward the Tauck one. Tauck experiences? I hate to be hit up for extra $ for land tours, soda, etc.
Thanks for any input.

How did you like Sea Cloud? It looks like a beautiful ship, but rooms seem small unless you take a suite. Are they comfortable?

Sea Cloud, the original, does indeed have small cabins except the fancy original ones below. Sea Cloud II rooms are huge. We had 240 sq ft on the middle deck. I don't expect to ever have such luxury again. We happened upon a last minute Christmas Caribbean cruise throught Academic Arrangements. Very fancy.

Highly recommend the Royal Clipper.

There are three ships, but the Royal Clipper is the newest, and very lovely.
