Are they trying to scare people off cruising?

They keep recirculating this article at MSN. What do you think? Is this closer tot he truth than us avid cruisers believe?

Eschew, there will always be something negative about any form of vacation. I have grown very fond of cruising and always enjoy my vacation. I go with a positive attitude and will things happen I don't fall apart. I have yet to be on a cruise ship where I did not have fun. Yes there are mean hateful people on the cruise, I just ignore them

MSN makes a habit of publishing articles sensationalizing the downside of every form of recreation activity. It you only read their articles you'd swear you'll get deathly sick on cruises or worse yet your ship will catch fire or sink, you'll lose your all your luggage when traveling by plane, encounter massive traffic jams on road trips, br accosted by thieves in every city, get ptomaine poisoning in every restaurant, get ripped off by unscrupulous tour operators, be seriously injured zip-lining, etc. You name the activity, they've published an article telling you why it should be avoided.

They are trying to get hits to their website with suck you in leads I think.

The pics are very misleading as most cruisers know. After taking a land vacation to China and Malaysia in Sept. we are dying to cruise again.
