Anyone ever use cruise4me.com

I have gotten a quote for an Alaskan cruise from the above. It is $250 less than any other I have received. Does anyone have any experience with this? I believe the agency is Sterling Travel in Miami.

I'm wondering the same thing...all the quotes I've received from this company are less, but I do not know anyone who has used them? Anyone have any experience with this booking agency...the website is

http://www.cruiserewards.cc/ONLINE/online_cruise_reservations.htm

Thanks.

I've used them and had no problems. I agree with you that they are cheap. I saved over 15% compared with local travel agents.

Cruise.com is also good.

We are already booked on the Rhapsody in May but after reading this I had to get on the site mentioned to see how it compared. We got a lower rate through our travel agent so, based on that, I would do as I did 3 years ago when we booked our first cruise. I got out the YP and called 6 or 7 TA's. You can tell a lot by a phone conversation and then you can see what rates they call you back with, so be sure to give each one the same particulars. We lucked out and found Mary who has booked our 3 cruises since, with rates lower than I found anywhere. And then, too, you are dealing with someone local in case there is a problem..I'm a little leary of an 800# or a web address as my only connection to a sizeable investment.
Good Luck!!!!!

Elaine,

I agree with you completely. If after shopping local agents, they are cheaper than the mega cruise agencies selling through the web, buy through your agent. It's been my experience that the mega's are cheaper. I think they buy blocks of cabins, get large commissions because of their volume and share their savings with the customer. You've got to be lucky. It's not true on all cruises.
