Thanks Beth for the "snow" post. I knew someone would come to my rescue.

Message to Tom M. Whatdayoumean self-interest? I tell all of my customers what to expect when I sell them a cruise or vacation, both positive and negative. I make the same commission (it's no where near $500) whether I sell them a Crystal or Premier cruise. Or if I sell a suite or lowest inside cabin. The only thing over-rides do for me is make me more competitive. I just do not sell Ren. I also do not sell Norwegian since they are not maintaining their ships and they are falling apart. I will not sell the ships until the line is sold to a reputable company. And, oh yes, my over-ride is tremendous. It has to be, they are practically giving away their cruises.

Here's another tidbit of information. I am now being pressured by Ren agents to sell their line. I presume they are not filling their ships. I instructed them to first publish the fact that they love travel agents (they have already ceased telling customers to not book with travel agents). STRANGE company. They also stated the price they offer their customers is the same price they will offer me and they will pay me commission.

If I ever do sell Ren. again I will continue to tell my customers the positives and negatives.

Listen to GPG, he/she is right on the "money."

Happy cruising, Paul
