Thanks. I had been dreaming of going to Antarctica. Are there expeditions from NZ or Australia? Anyone been there via down under?

NZ sends researchers there but I don't think real people. I used to stay at a B&B in Christchurch (destroyed by the big quake) that housed a lot of the researchers before and after.
