alaskan shore excursions?
 

Taking a cruise 6/9 from whittier to vancouver on the sapphire princess. does anyone have any suggestions for shore excursions? I will be with my 17 yr old daughter and 25 yr old nephew. thanks

What are the ports of call please?

Ports of call are Skagway. Juneau, and Ketchikan. Right now I'm leaning towards White Pass Scenic Railway in Skagway and Helicopter ride and dog sledding on Mendenhall in Juneau

We did the Sapphire Princess in late August on southbound trip. You have picked both good shore excursions. If you are physical, they have a bike trip down from White Pass that looked fun if there are no physical limitations in the group.

We toured Mendenhall Glacier on our own, but I have heard great reports on you dog sled/helicopter ride.

We took the golf trip into the Yukon territory, it was mostly van trip, with a shortened golf outing, but the scenery was unbelievable.

You need to look over a shore excursion list and narrow down your interests. Determine your budget and repost.

There are hundreds of excellent tours to consider and no point recommending them if you have no interest.

Budget fully, you get only half a trip without them. :P
