I would go crazy in an inside cabin as I have to be able to look outside whenever I want. This includes the middle of the night which in Alaska will be light out.

I have been ill, so no planning done. We have decided that we need at least two more days than we have available, one for me to rest after the flights and one for sightseeing. Timing of flights for me now is very important, even returning.
Your help and advice is not wasted though. We are now excited about Alaska and will plan for later in the Summer if we can extend the time. We might even join family from the West Coast and make it a family trip.
