Airports near ports

Only been on a couple of cruises, quite a while back, and all the airfare was done through the cruise lines. In the interest of cost, we are planning our own airfare, so does anyone know the best airports to fly into for the following?

Tampa, FL
Miami, FL
Port Canaveral, FL
Galveston, TX
Mobile, AL

Thanks!

The first 2 - fly into those cities
Canaveral - Fly into Orlando

Don't know about the last 2 -I would say into those cities, too.

If you're leaving out of port canaveral, check out fares flying into Melbourne. I've seen cheaper ones there and i think it is closer too.

If you are cruising from Galveston, fly into Houston Hobby. (HOU) That's a lot closer to Galveston than George Bush Intercontinental. (IAH)

P_M is correct, however if you plan on using cruise line transfers, some do not offer them from Hobby...just double check ahead of time...

If you are flying into FT LAUDERDALE, do you own air and do NOT use cruise ship transfers- the airport is 5 min from pier and it is much easier to have your own taxi than to be on a mass bus with 35 other PLUS their luggage..

WHATEVER you do, make sure your flights leave AFTER 12 noon on the day of disembarkation due to security lines at the airports..In FT Lauderdale, it can sometimes be 1 - 1 1/2 hrs in line in security...
