Advice, Info, & Help Needed for March 2013 Cruise
Hi all! I am having a really tough time deciding what cruise line and ship to choose for our March 2013 trip. My husband and I along with another couple will be traveling together. We are all in our early 30's. Originally we were planning on just picking one island to travel to, however we decided we wanted to have more options of nightlife. My husband and I have cruised before, but the other couple has not. My husband and I love to cruise even though we have only gone on two before this using Princess cruise lines.
Here's my dilemma: We would like to choose a different cruise line since we have cruised with Princess 2 times. We loved Princess. I am trying to decide between Royal Caribbean and Celebrity.
The ships available for the dates in March are RCL Oasis, Allure, Freedom of the Seas and Independence of the Seas. And on Celebrity the two ships are Silhouette and the brand new one Reflection. All the itineraries call for either Western or Eastern Caribbean and have either 2 or 3 days at sea. I have been researching all these ships and lines and are probably confusing myself even more so I am asking for help, info, and advice on choosing which trip. All the trips leave out of Florida and either on a Sat or Sun.
I think the most important things for us on this trip is 1. to make sure our friends have a wonderful first time cruise and leave wanting to do another one. 2. specialty restaurants 3. Adults only area 4. Nightlife (Bars, night club, casino that does not get empty by 11pm) 5. Great Spa/fitness area
Any help would be very much appreciated!!!! Thank you!!
