7 or 10 Day Cruise?

We're considering doing a 10 day "circle the Carribbean" cruise on RCCL. We have 8 active children between the ages of 4 and 13 travelling in our group. Do you think the children and the seniors would start to get a little bored after 7 days. Some people have said that 7 days is not enough but I'm wondering if 10 days may be just too many. Your opinions are greatly appreciated.

Wether the children get bored or not depends on two things: What do the kids like to do? and what type of programs & activities (and babysitting services) RCCL has on board for the kids. Cruise lines vary on how well they cater to kids so ask RCCL for more info. Teenagers tend to make friends easily on board ship and will make their own fun until the wee hours of the morning. If RCCL doesn't have enough activities or babysitting for the younger ones (especially at night during adult hours), then ten days is to long. If the older ones are adventures, fun loving and can make friends easy then ten days is ok. My kids were ten and thirteen when we starting cruising and 7 days never was enough for them.
